Why Las Vegas
Cheap flights from everywhere, everything under one roof, and no last orders.
The short version of what it is good for: nightlife, spa & slow. If none of those is what the group wants, the honest answer is to pick somewhere else — a city cannot be talked into a vibe it does not have.
Things to do
Day-club pool party.
Show — Cirque, a residency or a revue.
Chef’s tasting menu on the Strip.
Cabana and spa day.
Red Rock Canyon morning drive.
Downtown Fremont for a cheaper night.
Where to eat
A chef tasting menu once — it is the thing Vegas does best
Late-night noodles off the Strip
Buffet brunch for the whole group in one booking
Where to stay
The Strip for walkability and pools
Downtown for the same nights at half the room rate
A suite as the base so nobody pays for a hotel bar
One good Saturday
Pool party until four, dinner at eight, show at ten, Fremont after midnight.
That is one anchored plan, not a schedule. Everything either side of it should be left open.
What it costs
$800–$1,400 per person for three nights, before travel.
That covers accommodation, food, drink and one or two paid activities. It does not cover getting there, which is the number that varies most and the one people forget to say out loud.
Split the fixed costs — the house, the one big booking — before anyone arrives. Splitting on the last morning is how group trips end badly.
When to go
Best months: Mar–May, Sep–Nov.
Outside those, expect either weather that changes the plan or prices that change the guest list. Neither is fatal, but both are worth knowing before you commit a date.
Before you book anything
We list these as suggestions, not as bookings, and we do not vet operators. Look up whoever actually runs an activity, read their own reviews rather than an aggregator's, and treat any booking that changes its location by text message as a reason to walk away.
